William C. Abney Academy provides a safe, nurturing and respectful learning environment while maintaining high standards for each student. The academy emphasizes strong skills in Reading, English, Language arts, Math, Social studies and Science. Our students have met and exceeded state and national norms.

William C. Abney Academy  continues to grow academically and structurally. The expansion to the sixth grade has been approved for the 2010-2011 school year. An approval for a preschool and middle school is expected for the 2011-2012 school year. We also have a full computer lab for our students, a playground and a gym.

Seven buses provide transportation within school boundaries. Full-day kindergarten is also offered.
